The Pacific Islands GIS&RS User Conference was held from 16 to 19 November under the theme “Bridging Information Gaps By Creating Smarter Maps” in the Japan Pacific ICT Auditorium at USP. The GIS conference 2015 received a good response from GIS&RS software vendors, users from agencies, organisations and government ministries within Fiji, the Pacific region and the international arena. A total of 55 organisations, 10 vendors and more than 20 countries were represented at the three-day conference.
